The best way to know what’s going on is to check us out on social media! We pride ourselves on having a party every night of the week! But Woody’s KC’s monthly weekend parties are the stuff of legend. Here is a rundown of our reoccurring monthly events!
Emo Night: Let’s be sad together. All your fav emo jams, playing all night.
Bear Bust: Every first Saturday it’s BEAR BUST, the Midwest’s longest running and biggest party for bears, cubs, the leather community, and hairy men aficionados! Monthly guest star appearances by adult film industry personalities, monthly drink specials, and much much more!
LIPS: LIPS at Woody’s every second Friday — a night dedicated to ladies, lesbians, and all sapphic yearning folks! Join us for an unforgettable evening of laughter, libations, and love.
DOWN LOW: Hosted by our resident DJ Amanda, every second Saturday DOWN LOW is for all who crave house music and a laid back good time. Special guest DJs each month.
THICC: Every third Saturday, it’s time to flaunt what you’ve got with DJ SirQueen. Come as you are, or as you want to be for a night of body positivity, and good beats!
Body Euphoria: During the warm months of the year, every Fourth Friday, Lana Luxx presents an all-trans cast of performers for a night like no other. Not only are the performers incredible, but Lana also delivers decor and a photo booth!
UNDERDOGS: Fourth Saturdays Kansas City’s Pup community hosts it’s monthly Pup & leather community gathering.
Happy Hour: 5 PM – 7 PM, Tuesday – Friday!
In 2019, on the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall Riots, we built our PRIDE stairs to pay homage to our LGBTQ+ community. Since then they’ve become a highlight of our space. Check out our patio for the “picture perfect” moment!
Acceptance and inclusivity are our core beliefs. We’ve built a place that everyone in our LGBTQ+ community can enjoy and feel safe. We also believe as a space that holds space for our community that we have a responsibility to our community. Our tenets of our space include:
We love our community. That’s why we do a series of “Give Back,” events where we “party with a Purpose!” For example, during our summer Retox event, we work together to give a portion of our sales of the event to donate to our local LGBTQ+ organizations.
